Description
Well, I'm back. It's nice to get some time off to get a few things done. It sets your mind in the right place and gets one going again.
This was a template I drew while sitting inside a 'Bucks down the street from Midwest Furfest 2012. (Right next to the Ram and just after watching the Browns lose.) I finally got it done today and here goes the expanded what's up.
1. The couches in the party room had a distinct "pesticide" smell on them, guessing they battle bed bugs. Wolfus and I pulled a joke from the Don and Mike show and had fun with it.
2. It was odd that there was an inflated shark behind Zenwolf and we found it funny.
3. Wolfus and I were sitting behind "The Arch" which was a odd archway in the middle of a huge hotel room. It separated the dining area from the living area. We imagined if Captain Picard called for the arch on the holodeck, and he saw giant inflatables, he'd be a little off. Also, whenever the doorbell of this hotel suite rang, we all shouted (a'la Fletch) "Mrs. Stanwyck!!"
4. Zenwolf thought it was neat that I was learning guitar and asked if he could play it. He didn't let on that he knew HOW TO PLAY. Drunken fun was had by all.
5. Everybody in the party room had a smart phone and they were saying they had a beer at the hotel in Chicago? Meanwhile, I played Tetris
6. Zen was a great host. It didn't matter what was in the suite. It was another furry "thing" to see and learn about and made me want to have a warm day and a pool. I embellished my reaction.
7. While waiting for the bus to take me back to my hotel, I set up in the lobby and jammed on my guitar. I didn't realize the Ecchon Valdez of coffee was spilled under me until I went to get up and my cloth guitar chord was wet.
8. Yes, I tipped a few and walked back to my hotel (10 blocks) , got on with Boomer for doggy radio, did the first break and passed out. I woke to just before Boomer got off and carried on for another 45 minutes of show. He was nice about it
That's it. I have two more pictures and a lot more sketch dumps in the pipe. Plus, I'm drawing again. YAY!
